教师简介


Kel Lamplough.British. Born in a small village close to Manchester, UK, Kel has a Masters in Syllabus and Materials Design for Language Teaching and Drama. His PGCE and first degrees are from London. He has worked in South America, central and eastern Europe, the Middle East and Asia. He worked at Beijing World Youth Academy for six years before coming to KWYA as Principal in late 2017. Kel’s interests out of work include swimming and drawing.
Kyle Gray.American. Kyle grew up in a small Missouri town. He studied History and Secondary Education with a Middle School Endorsement at College of the Ozarks. He taught part time in local schools, worked at a museum, and finally moved to South Korea teaching English. He received his CELTA, and after Korea, was admitted to Utrecht University in the Netherlands for a Masters in Political and Social History. In 2016 he moved to KWYA as Humanities teacher and now DP Coordinator. Outside of work, Kyle likes traveling, meeting up with friends, and relaxing with a good book or TV show.
Chris Sturmer.American. Born in a small town in the middle of Wyoming, far away from everything except Yellowstone National Park. Chris has a Bachelors Degree in Sociology from Pacific University. He has lived and worked throughout China for 6 years. He started at KWYA as an English Teacher in the fall of 2016. Chris' interests outside of work include playing soccer/football, playing video games, and spending time with his growing family.
Andy Wood.British. Born in Warrington, UK, Andy has a Post Graduate Diploma in Education Studies from Liverpool University and his first degree in Technical Theatre Arts is from Manchester University. He has worked in Switzerland, the United Kingdom and China. Andy has worked to Develop and Teach PE at KWYA as well as teaching Science, Maths and Drama. Other duties include Homeroom Tutor and CAS Coordinator. Andy’s main hobbies are sporting: football, rugby and table-tennis.
Gary Mason.British. Gary’s first degree is in 3D design. He is an Architectural Designer. Gary has a PGCE in Design Education. He emigrated to Australia. He worked on the development of national curriculum for design education at tertiary level of education before moving to China seven years ago. He has taught Art in Yantai, Shenzhen and Shanghai. He enjoys all aspects of teaching, helping young people to grow and understand themselves and our world better though the medium of Art and Design.
Joe Stothers.British. Joe was born in Southampton, but moved to a village near Norwich at a young age, where he grew up. Joe has a Bachelor's Degree in Japanese and Russian from the University of Leeds and a CELTA from the Norwich Institute of Language Education. He worked for three years in the public school system in Daegu, South Korea, before coming to Kunming in early 2017, where he continues to work as an English Teacher. Joe’s main interest outside of work is travel.
Omar El-Hadad, New Zealander. Omar has a PhD in physical chemistry from University of Canterbury, New Zealand, and a Master of Applied Science degree in environmental engineering from University of Windsor, Canada. He has worked in New Zealand, Canada, Dubai, and Malaysia. In China he worked in Nanchang, Xi'an and currently in Kunming. He taught engineering and science subjects related to chemistry, physics, mathematics and economics, with focus on chemistry and math as the subjects more related to his PhD. Out of work Omar practices swimming and reading.
Natasha Rasmussen. British. Born in beautiful rural Scotland, UK, Natasha has over eight years of ESL teaching experience since graduating from The University of Glasgow,UK, with a Master of Arts in Philosophical Studies in 2009.She also completed courses inEnglish Literature, English Language and Theatre Studies during her undergraduate studies.At KWYA she teaches English and Drama.Since becoming TEFL certified through the British Council Language Assistants Programme in China she has worked inpublic and private schools in citiesaround China including: Qingdao, Dalian, Beijing and Kunming. Natasha's hobbies and interests include travelling, reading and studying Chinese.

郑洁，北京人，中学一级教师，拥有高中语文教师资格证书、MYP培训结业证书。师范大学汉语言文学专业本科毕业。毕业以后在公立学校工作八年，担任初中和高中语文教师工作；自2003年8月至今在国际学校工作，主要教授初中语文课程，担任过六年班主任。教授过的课程有MYP语言A&B、IBDP 语言B、IGCSE语言A。在国际学校工作期间，参与编选汉语七至九年级语言A教材、语言B三&四阶段教材、中学部作文选，创办文学俱乐部、电影俱乐部，担任CS（社区服务项目）协调员。工作之余喜欢读书、看片、旅行。
曹婧瑶，昆明人，本科毕业于华北电力大学，电气工程及其自动化专业。两年民用建筑电气设计经验。从教五年半，三年半高考英语教育经验，两年双语物理教育经验。持有国家高中物理教师资格证，剑桥大学考试委员会英语教学能力证书TKT，高分通过英语六级，雅思6.5分。慢跑热爱者，近三年累计慢跑量超过1600公里，健康的身体，清晰的头脑，是她对生活的态度。教学上除了授之以鱼，更注重授之以渔。考高分网建校时间：2016年
